Terms of use
Last updated: 2 September 2026
These terms govern access to and use of the PayPOS merchant application. PayPOS is intended for professional merchants and their authorized users.
Service operator and scope
Paytweak SAS provides PayPOS as a technical service for creating payment requests and displaying transaction information. RCS Évreux et Paris 809 462 955 · Registered office: 12 rue Traversière, 27140 Gisors, France
The merchant’s subscription, order form, special terms, and the complete Paytweak contractual terms remain applicable and prevail in the event of a conflict with this in-app summary.
Account and authorized users
The merchant must provide accurate information, restrict access to authorized persons, keep credentials confidential, and promptly report suspected compromise. Each user is responsible for actions performed through their account and device.
Paytweak may require identity or business documents where necessary for contractual, fraud-prevention, or legal checks.
Payments and merchant responsibilities
The merchant is responsible for the goods or services sold, the amount and recipient of each payment request, refunds, customer information, taxes, receipts, and compliance with consumer and data-protection law.
Paytweak is a technical intermediary and is not the merchant’s bank or payment institution. Authorization, collection, settlement, card-data handling, disputes, and chargebacks are performed under the rules of the payment provider or acquirer selected by the merchant.
Acceptable use
PayPOS must not be used for unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, abusive, sanctioned, or prohibited activities; to collect funds for an unauthorized third party; or in a way that compromises the service, a payment provider, or another user.
Users must not bypass security controls, probe the service without authorization, introduce malicious code, or copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or misuse Paytweak intellectual property except where mandatory law permits it.
Availability, support, and changes
The service depends on internet, device, hosting, messaging, banking, and payment-provider systems. Paytweak aims to maintain availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance, security incidents, or third-party failures may affect access.
Paytweak may update the application, security requirements, or these terms. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
Suspension and termination
Access may be limited or suspended to protect users, comply with law, investigate fraud, address overdue contractual obligations, or stop a material breach. The merchant remains responsible for exporting records it must retain and for obligations incurred before termination.
Liability and governing terms
Each party remains responsible for its own obligations. Any limitation of liability, governing law, dispute process, service level, and termination right is determined by the merchant’s contract and the complete Paytweak terms, subject to mandatory law.
Partner or co-branded visuals do not by themselves change the contracting entity, the merchant’s payment provider, or the allocation of responsibilities.
